The Centre is governed by a Voluntary Board consisting of up to twelve community members who are dedicated to providing a high quality and safe local health service. The Board works with the Centre Manager to ensure sound financial, operational, legal and strategic management.
As a board member you can become involved in the strategic planning of services provided at the health centre. You will be in a position to be an advocate for clients in the community to ensure that health needs of community members are being met. You can directly influence the Health Services available to your Community as a representative on the board.

The Annual General Meeting of the Bush Nursing Centre occurs in September each year. All financial members of the Centre are eligible for appointment to the Board and receive a notice of the AGM 21 days prior to the meeting. Nomination forms are required to be completed and returned to the administration officer 7 days prior to the meeting. New Board members will receive an orientation to the role and will be well supported by other Board members and staff.
