Lake Bolac Bush Nursing Centre is funded by the Victorian Government to provide a broad range of health care services, enabling the community to access care locally and stay in their homes longer.
Services include clinical assessment and management of acute medical presentations; District Nursing; first line emergency care in partnership with Ambulance Victoria; palliative care; post-acute care for people discharged from hospital; wound care; hospital in the home; and immunisations.
The Centre is supported by Ararat Medical Centre and East Grampians Health Service with weekly visiting General Practitioner and Allied Health clinics providing accessible primary health care to a community that would otherwise need to travel fifty kilometres to Ararat.
